Yea- outside of the Centurion Lounges (SFO centurion was superb), lounges have sort have fallen by the wayside. Largely b/c they are not a really profit center, so the newer airport lounges will cut down on their size, which often leads to overcrowding.

Are Amex’s the only cards with that? I went up one time with my boys and it was cool. Our flight was in the AM though so not many people were there.

We always go to the lounge. We add it as trip passes, so they can’t pull the “no one time passes” nonsense. I’m not sitting at the gate with the peasants.

United upgraded a lot of their US lounges. The Polaris lounge in Newark has like a 4 star restaurant in it.
