I still like mine and never really had it as a fashion statement. It works great within apple's eco system, which is why I go with them over a different brand. If you go through and unsync all the unnecessary apps that get connected to it you can get two days out of the battery, but I just throw mine on the magnetic charging base every night so I dont really understand the complaint. I probably get more use out of mine being in the trades though since my hands are often full, or I'm working in confined areas, so it's nice being able to quickly see incoming texts or screen/field calls from it. They're also good for a long ass time, as my daughter is still using my series 2 every day without any issues that I know of.
