Are Beats worth the extra $$$?

I fell for the hype and bought some solo 1's when they came out for lil bro, the sound in them shyts was straight garbage. And they broke after a couple of months

Maybe they've improved them but make sure you atleast test some other ones out before

With that said if you're able to find a pair and the price makes sense buy em. The build quality of the pros is worth it if you want something that can take a beating

I ain't gone sell you a dream. They are the best looking headphone out but their are far better headphones available for cheaper. And I mean far better...However they are a quality, nice looking headphone.

Im only talking about the over the ear models (Solo, Studio, Pros) Power beats and the ear buds are just like any other ear buds but cost more.

And if you must. Buy the joints from overseas, they're much cheaper and I've heard they even have better sound quality than what's sold in stores.

I have some $300 Shure ear buds..but it's not for music,,they don't have bass..it's for studio engineering and dictatation..
