Because if it's the latter then how has nobody mentioned the former MVP McCutchen yet
I chose to highlight the two dudes that they talked about on MLB Network and Sportscenter this week for their outstanding play...i wasn't trying to piss anybody off or get people emotional
there are still very few african american players in general; but dudes like Garrett and Thames give me a glimmer of hope that they can reach out to and appeal to a younger generation
I know this, and this is his first year back and he's tearing the league up - just like cecil fielder did in 1990 when he came back from japan
I'm not trying to argue or fight over this - if you all want to big up ALL the african american players please do so
I singled these two out because again - in 2017, they're having good seasons so far and the league is talking about them; i wasn't trying to piss people off

There's other players too but I see your point. I woulda thought Billy Hamilton woulda been bigger than what he is right now, but he needs to hit better cuz he can fly. There's more on the way. J.P. Hitting ain't easy. Billy Hamilton is exactly where I thought he'd be
Keon Brixton, byron buxton (who is under performing too) and chris Carter who led the NL in homeruns last year
we're up there and there are actually quite a few brothers in the minor leagues as quiet as that's kept
the numbers are down, but most of the players listed are in the starting lineups for these teams - when we play, we dominate that's why the shyt is so frustrating

If any of yall had paid attention to the last 5 MLB drafts you'd see that the RBI program is working. The early rounds have been littered with young black talent. The thing is, its baseball... so youre not gonna see some of these guys break out until years later. But its definitely starting to happen as you could see
