True as that might be it is also pretty obvious we choose to consume trash under the guise of entertainment via personal choice. People are not entirely driven to fukkery by programming but their own will. The video mentions media and even programming in music but we have been in the "internet" era for a decade plus now and in that time consumers have found every angle to discover and find sounds not driven by the industry and have yet still managed to chase the sounds that are most ignorant and controversial. this wasn't via label push but personal choice. What is elevated to the top of the rap game now and monetized is a discovery for the industry and the fans alike in real-time.
