This is going to sound fukked up buthave you ever tried to have this kind of conversation with the average black person? They literally look at you like , nicca I want to get lit. I have had black people literally get mad at me for talking about group economics.

STEM shouldn't be some boogie man for black people to the point where we're being "dominated" out of a field. Im doing computer science right now and I feel I'm just as competent as anybody whether they be White , Asian, middle eastern, etc. Especially in the math classes

It's not that stem is a boogie man, it is a problem that many of the students are so distracted from school. In many inner city schools truancy is a problem and like you already know, miss a day in class with math it is a problem. I can only speak from my experience, but all my math teachers since middle school, I rarely learned anything but I was still pushed to the next grade. Administrators seen the reports but failed to fix the issue because it isn't the school per se but the students family and environment, for you to learn math you need stability and discipline. Hence, why Asians score higher in math(even in lower income districts/zone). Also, many of the times, there is NO computer science courses in the curriculum available to schools because I dont know why(can't afford comp sci teachers?). It pisses me off that there is no intro to java/c++ or computer programming in these inner city high schools because it doesn't take higher level math to learn that stuff but just logic, which many are good at. But also teaches you to think a certain way. My niece had to teach her self calculus because they stopped the curriculum after a certain point because it was expected for her school to just pass people by.
