What are some pros and cons of experiencing this situation and the lessons it teaches you for the future?

Anyone who went to a "nice" school but lived in a worse area?

Would you want your children ever going to a predominantly white school?

To begin schooling I think so.....Better adjusted to the way the world works. I went to one from preschool-6th. You telling me those formative years arent important? Parents more involved, little violence. Sure, u have to face White supremacy early but it only gets you acclimated a bit. Once u're an adult that exposure will get you on game more than someone who went to an all-black school (UNLESS U're in the 0.00001% of "Black" schools that are in AFFLUENT neighborhoods).

If this were 1922* and we kept our shyt together and SEPARATE - different story but today I think it's a good thing to get your reading, writing, and arithmatic up.

they used to bring in a 5 or 6 black kids from NY to go to my high school, pretty good school, majority white. we'd ball n shyt after class, were all good dudes. never really asked them about how it felt to go there as opposed to stayin in NY

I think so. I went to an all black school from k-12th grade and I myself was very naive to ways white supremacy some of the all black schools are breeding grounds for c00n behavior (in my experience at least) They think white people are rare. It's weird in all black schools there is black pride with elements of c00n-ism.

But at the sametime most c00ns who are c00ns through and through come from white communities.
