I’ll just say this

When you meet people like this, and they not asking you for anything, you understand why they say what they say

Some people go through life thinking they ain’t shyt, for whatever reason had no life goals or plans and who knows what they got in motion to refer to themselves as certain titles

Is it annoying, maybe, depends on how you look at and the person in question. Personally as I age I’m learning to give mfers some grace.

Ive always been groomed in my family to climb the corporate ladder. Entrepreneurship is cool and all but our community is pushing it a lot because we have seen the fringe success that comes out of it. It takes a LOT of work. I can put that energy on my 9 to 5 and focus on stuff on the side....or be a careerist and jump and make huge pay raises. I don't get why working a 9 to 5 is frowned upon now in the Black community. When someone says, "I'm an entrepreneur" I hear "I don't have a steady income".

I support entrepreneurs as part of my job.....many of them would never describe themselves as simply entrepreneurs.
