The only Panamanians I know who don’t live in NYC area often live in Florida or Philly.

Never seen them anywhere else tho.

Actually where your mom was born and raised is not too far from the Panama festival they have on Franklin Ave every year.

There’s quite a few of them in Cali. Went to school with some, plus one of my mom’s best friends when I was growing up was Panamanian.

I actually met a few but that’s when I worked at the hotel by the airport.

The real Panama doesn’t look too much different racial wise from other Central American Hispanic countries but the black ones are the main group who immigrate to other places.

On the other end I’ve never met a Black El Salvadoran and I’ve only known one Black Costa Rican ever, an elementary school friend.

Oh yea most Costa Rican’s in NY are black and actually they barely rep being Hispanic and always come to the West Indian day parade.

The only time I saw a white Costa Rican was in Queens during the Final Cup tournament where people were repping their countries.
