You deal with body injuries how, and in what capacity?? And you were told by who ??

Why are they not physician?? Is that base on your personal opinion or law ?? And what’s the difference??
no one should ever claim to be a physician unless they have completed an MD or DO degree. WTF are you talking about?

I’m beyond these conversations because people use fake anecdotal evidence, and don’t even base opinions in facts, if your state recognizes me as a doctor and i have several privileges to operate and call myself as such, it comes down to stupid personal opinions, when half the loudest mf in this thread never took anything beyond hs biology but want to dictate a doctor title, y’all have a good day arguing over this, if you don’t want to use a chiropractor cool, your choice, but don’t spread personal hate because you stuck on your moms couch. Several people advocate for and trust chiropractic
Say man, my left heel is constantly hurting when I wake up in the mornings.
Got me limping around for the first few minutes.
Can Chiro help that at all or is is it all neck/back?

as a real doctor (I'm an MD), both of these sentences are false and incredibly uniformed/ignorant. let's let you have a medical emergency and go to a chiropractor for assistance --> guess what, you'll be in the afterlife. and to answer the OP's question? fukk no they aren't anywhere close to real doctors in the traditional sense.

I don't care what you are. If you are not someone who practices Functional Medicine, you are not a real doctor

People who practice Functional Medicine are the real doctors. They understand what is actually medically wrong you, the actual root cause of why you are sick... unlike Conventional medicine that just focuses on symptoms

that's because they aren't medical doctors
Would you say some chiropractors go way beyond their scope or are the educational hours that they report sufficient for what they handle? I have seen suggestions that chiropractors are on par with doctors of osteopathic medicine, what are your thoughts on that?

what in the hell are you talking about? i'm a medical school and residency graduate, board-certified in internal medicine, and a practicing internal medicine hospitalist of more than 10 years. i treat symptoms while attempting to identify and cure the underlying diagnosis/disease. everything you're saying is incredibly false and dangerous. FOH with some neg rep for real.

What do you think about this?

It's the basis for why hours are not credited for "functional medicine"

they aren't even close to osteopathic (DO) or allopathic (MD). DO's go through mostly similar training to MDs. some of the best physicians I know are DOs. chiropractic care is very niche and not anywhere close to the education/residency that a physician goes through.

Regarding the education, where does the stark difference lie? I ask because they will say chiropractors are taking similar credit hours, some even suggest more. And on chiropractic care in general, does it serve any purpose or would you say it can be reduced to total quackery?

the breadth of information a physician has to learn and interpret is far greater (and don't let anyone tell you otherwise or bring up BS data/numbers) is the difference, but what further separates it is an additional 3-8 years of residency/fellowship after med school.
