I am The Wrench in all your plans....
It's not about how many endings it has, it's the fact that everything DID get tossed in the bushes, for an ending that began to be too much to explain itself. For as great of a series it was, 3's ending was a letdown(the only disappointment I even have with the series to be honest). Not even necessarily the decision you make, but how it was introduced, and how open-ended it was left. If they weren't gonna give an epic boss fight, cool, but The Catalyst??? Really? The introduction of the Catalyst threw the game for a whole different loop and opened up way more discussion, in a whole new lane, and threw everything else in the bushes. No matter how many logs and extra cuts and dialogue goes into the game, his presence wasn't ever needed, nor is it ever fully . The Catalyst was a bad idea from the jump, nothing will change that. Reveal a failed A.I. that can only think in one way to be your main villain in a trilogy, 5 minutes before it ends for an A+ ending brehs.
If the ending was fine, there wouldn't have been a need for an extended cut. Bioware employees wouldn't have had to write letters addressing the fact that they're sorry we didn't like their ending. People wouldn't have had to take to the Internet to answer all the questions that were left behind and unanswered(forcing a thing like the Extended Cut and the Leviathan DLC logs to exist in the first place). Bioware wouldn't be trying to force the idea that Synthesis is the best ending through all the DLC and shyt if the ending wasn't convoluted and full of contradictions and unexplained conversations. ME3 built up too much to backstory to successfully conclude and that's why the ending sucked. Extended cut or not.
Exactly!!!!

Thero sacrifised himself in all three endings is bullshyt no matter what you think, the journey to that end of a video game negates a whole story. The "Hero" doesnt have to die and plus the sacrifise seemed forced. You die no matter what? Why the fukk would I want a gloomy depressing ending to a major video game knowing that fans would possibly want a happy ending. It was happy or bittersweet it was a clusterfukk. The catalyst createdd by mac walters and that a$$hole hudson completely broke the lore of the story from the inception of the trilogy. The good ending wasnt hard earned or fought for. there should have been a reaper shutdown code which you fought for. no if,ans or butts about it. THEY ARE fukkING MACHINES!!! Period!
A final boss battle that should have been ramped up in difficulty would have made it satisfying and gave gamers an incentive to finish no matter what there was millions of gamers just disappointed, we never got to see a true epilogue or the aftermath of the reapers or sheppard and team celebrating. it was just hey sheppard walk into the just explosion while your shooting a gun, or throw yourself into the green ending adding your collective human dna into other beings thus changing their genetic makeup, and thus negating the themes of divirsity is strength. and the reapers unity through destruction is bullshyt.

Why shouldnt the player get 16 endings!!!! why only 3 bullshyt ones

. I still remember getting that FF7 demo disc.... See, gamers didn't mess up gaming. These huge corporations trying to pimp our ass are fukking up gaming. You pay 50 bucks for a game...then you have these micro transactions or DLC skins (fukk you Batman with all your damn costumes..nikka you knew I was going to pay for that Batman Beyond Skin). Mass Effect was a great game.
