We've already established that this gen was more diverse than the last. That trend will continue.

actually, we haven't established that either. name all the black protaganist from this generation, and i believe i can match it with black protaganist from the ps2/xbox generation.

Not bout to play silly games with you. There is definitely more diversity in games now, then there has been in the past. It's not even debatable.

You know that's not a good metric. We only know about a fraction of the games in development. I can really only think of a couple that I can confirm who/what the protagonist is. That does not mean that there aren't any games in development with black characters, or that games this gen won't be more diverse than last.

It's a stupid question, who's answer doesn't get us anywhere in this conversation, and you know that, but you'd rather hold on to that question cause its all you got.

well it's hard to argue when you think going from 4 black protag to 6 black protag is great progress. factually, you are correct, there is "more" diversity. but in practice, blacks and people of color are still grossly underrepresented.

this argument carries over into just about every aspect of black life. we can march, picket, beg white folks for a certain level of fairness, or we have to come together as a collective, and make it happen for ourselves.

now i'd prefer the latter, because even if your goal is to force white folks to accept blacks. we need to come to the table with our own bargaining chip. if these developers saw blacks coming together to support our own gaming projects -- they'd have no choice but to get with the program or lose out on the money.
