Not more full than NYC. This city is busting at the seams. We need to offload at least 4 million people and then apply for a $5 billion donation of cement mix, concrete mix, glass and cleaning supplies so we can fix the place up
Lol, not at all. But most of the ones I met were pretty friendly.Was she a slicked down edges, pictures from the rear showcasing the bubble in front of the Nobu sign, YSL clutch in tow—kinda woman? If not, we’re talking about different kind of women. You mentioned a singular woman. Breh was talking about a roster of fine ass women.
My girlfriend is a MD, but she’s not a baddie in that context. She’s modest, low maintenance, etc. She just wants a good man. A “baddie” isn’t really concerned with a man being a good man. We live this everyday. If a man thinks he’s going to be running through Houston 9/10’s because he has the same personality qualities as Russell Wilson, he will be in for a rude awakening.
I’ve never had problems anywhere with women. I’m beloved out here. I’m also not a trick and I’m realistic about certain things.

I got HELLA examples. When I first got to Houston, I matched with this fine ass shawty on Bumble. She asked what I did? I told her I was fairly new in town, but I work as a research assistant since I moved here to do my PhD at Rice (I’m thinking this will impress her. Rice is a top twenty university in the country).
She was like, “Oh…. Well, take care.”
I’m like what?
She said that she likes to jetset. She likes to randomly get up and travel the world or go on a cruise. She has a certain lifestyle that she’s accustomed to and anyone she’s involved with needs to be able to match her lifestyle—and she didn’t feel like I was in the position to do that—given my educational demands.
And I’m 6’3, no kids, smart as hell, handsome, etc. A certain type of women here don’t give a fukk about none of that.

Folks acting like The Rodeo been some black event. Like we was listening to KIKK and not Magic 102, 97.9 the Box, or 1590 Raps. FOH.
Can't stand frauds. Folks never saw movies at The Plitt, talmbout every Black folk got a pair of Justin's in the closet gathering dust. Houston is "country" but not that kinda country.
That said some folks do have horses in their backyards in the middle of the hood, but let's not go there today.
That said, the Rodeo has gotten way more inclusive and gotten way more national.
They usually had a "Black Day". (I think it's called Black Heritage day now) But not always...

But it's been getting way more popular in the city and on a national level.
I really want to say Bun B has basically brought in national artists and most importantly the local scene to the Rodeo - and all these beautiful sistas start showing up outta nowhere. They was not really trying to see Travis Tritt and Toby Keith, please believe it.
Pretty sure in the Geto Boys heyday, they didn't do the Rodeo.
