Microbes are the Apex predators now that I think about. We are second banana to bacteria, viruses etc.
They been here since the beginning and they will outlast us.

All animals, predators too run when they see us (in most cases where prehistoric humans shared habitat). Because humans were once apex predators, the other animals on the planet evolved to have a natural fear response to humans. This response is still present in the few places where humans still live side by side with wildlife, even from apex predators. Most of the world is civilized though and civilization removed us from the natural chain of the animal kingdom. So far removed that we could technically be considered an alien species to it by how we affect it in modern day.
This could’ve been a cool conversation but too many of y’all want to be goofy or don’t know enough about anthropology (which is dope). There’s no wrong answer because scientists are still debating this topic on both sides. Those make great conversations.

as hunter-gatherers yes, based off our ability to make tools, group dynamics and brain power. In terms of raw strength most of the animal kingdom is washing usI guess it's tricky, cuz we can hunt or kill anything (intelligence, ingenuity, tool, weaponry, etc)..
But without weapons or numbers, I'm confident 9/10 people, would be food, if dropped in the wild.
Most folks aren't hunters, or survivalists, either.
