I hate the way the internet is so eager to crown people, in any form of entertainment. I thought to be consider a legend, you must do something "legendary"? what has these dudes done or any of the these dudes done legendary?

For T.I., I'd say he's a legend because when he came out there really wasn't a lane for what he was doing. It was during an era where if you were a rapper from Atlanta, you were either part of the Dungeon Family or you were Ludacris. Even in the South period, nobody was really rapping what T.I. was rapping about and was successful at it. Unfortunately, when he came out the gate, he came with a Neptunes banger that flopped, but the streets took to "Dope Boyz", which would define his sound. For most artists, that would've been all she wrote. He persevered and started dropping mixtapes (the In Da Streetz series) and landed a spot on 2Pac's posthumous Better Dayz. Then he dropped "24's" which would help get him a joint venture with Atlantic. Then there was key guest appearances on "Neva Scared" and several other songs that would build anticipation for Trap Muzik. That album dropped and it created a lane for a new crop of Atlanta rappers that would come after. Every album that he dropped after Trap Muzik would go on to be more successful than the last up until 2007's T.I. vs. T.I.P. Then, he drop his most successful album in 2008 with Paper Trail. Most rappers most successful album is the first and they taper off after that. T.I.'s momentum continued.

He survived being ethered by Ludacris. He dismantled Lil' Flip. He's made some of the best commercial/crossover records (I mean who really would've expected a song like "What You Know" to be as big as it was). Dude has held his own with the likes of Nas, Cube, Jadakiss, Jay Z, Scarface, and Andre 3000.

I'd say out of the three, T.I. would be a legend especially considering the class of rappers he came in the game with. They all came and went.

I will never understand how you idiots put stupid restrictions on becoming hip-hop or even musical legends all three have been substantial figures in hip-hop especially southern hip-hop for 10 to 15 years from many aspects especially musically how the fukk aren't they legends,,,
Because they're not from the east coast nor are they southern rappers that people had already told them are legends :coffee:

Ross has the best catalog of the 3

TI had a run that cannot be denied

Jeezy reinvigorated trap music

All 3 left their impact on Hip-Hop whether you like it or not :umad:

To be an legend you either have to create a flow or style that was heavy influenced, have at least two undeniable classic albums or have music that has high reply value after 10+ years after it was released.

TI and Jeezy brought the world trap music and it influenced an entire culture so by definition yes

Stop piggybacking off what somebody else told you was good music. OutKast/Goodie Mob, UGK, and Scarface aren't the only southern legends.
