I never liked Jeezy after the first album. H4 had a few hits here and there, but ROSS is consistent and he had at least 4 runs.

I can understand not liking an artist, but Jeezy was liked by everyone. He was well received by the urban and mainstream crowds and had SMASH hits. Ross' Deeper than Rap is a favorite of my til this day, but I don't see any other time where Ross was THAT guy. His albums come fast because he can't make an impact like that.

I can see why TI and Jeezy would be considered. Ross eh, he's been pretty consistent but imo hasnt done truly noteworthy things like the other 2.

TIP is the easiest choice out the 3. His 03/04 hype levels was unreal and that discography spoke for itself

T.I. for sure. I don't like Jeezy. Ross is a legend in my book. But I suppose if Biggie, Pun, & Big L can be legends just cuz they died, Jeezy can be a legend too for "Yeah".

yea tip, jeezy & ross have already cemented legendary status.

you dont have to be a goat to be a legend.

theres levels to this legend chit.

Honestly that's kinda the part I struggled with. To each his own.

I feel you, Ross has mastered making timeless music...you don't have to like him but it's hard to deny that his music gets better with each album

I actually wasn't feeling ross at first but he grew in me. He is who he is (kind of :lolbron:) and his music has more playback value than the other two

You had a good comparison with pin and big L but biggie was a totally different breed plus he was at the absolute top of the rap game in terms of being renowned with the skills too back it up.

SOHH ICEY N.O.
Nah, because these new trap dudes dismiss the likes of them and call them irrelevant.
that would be so true if all these new trap dudes didnt have songs featuring all 3 of these dudes. all these dudes have songs feature ross and tip. most of the new trap rappers came up under gucci so they dont work wit jeezy

It's true. You don't see quality or long lasting artists challenge Ghostface Killah or Nas or KRS like that, outside of an ignorant few that are now forgotten.

You see people shyt on Jeezy when he ushered the first Era of trap with TI back in 05. Gucci Mane and them disrespect them on a regular basis.
:dwillhuh: gucci came out at the same time as jeezy and ross. hes not a new trap rapper, he is pretty much the blueprint for the new trap rappers

Nope, not just N.Y rappers. Ice T, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Scarface and many more are certified legends also. Ok cool, I don't mind if someone considers whoever a legend, but they none of the 3 are legends to me, Jeezy would be the closest to me...

What about K Rino:sas2:?

This question feels ridiculous to even ask, hell yeah T.I and Jeezy are legends:childplease:....Ross didn't have the impact they had in any regard,so he's going to have to get there by having a longer career than what he's had.

I think yall are confusing legends with goats which is not the same thing, how the hell ICe-T a legend but T.I and Jeezy aint:wtb:

The answer is yes, shut this thread down before more coli nikkas have a chance to disappoint me:scust:

Yup:sas1:

Didn't pioneer anything, wasnt respected as a rapper when he first came out at all, didnt introduce a new sound, had a hit single but album had no impact and he didn't change the game.....Still has yet to drop a true classic defining album,no timeless anthems:banderas:....and he got plenty of push to make him a superstar and was rejected by fans repeatedly, far as crowning him that nikka....You cant tell me T.I and Jeezy aint have a time where nationally they were considered that nikka at least in the south, and PERIOD in a lot of peoples books across the nation:blessed:
