That's true on some level. Women are just too catty naturally. They drop each other when they get a boyfriend/husband...if they like the guy particularly. I think males see friendship as more sacred. Not just some holdover until some woman decides she's interested.

I worked a part time vax call centre during Covid, for people to book. Most callers were elderly people.

We weren’t allowed to close the calls. This old lady kept me on the phone for 1 hr to book for her, which takes max 10 mins. At the end she thanked for me talking to her. She hasn’t talked to anyone for 3 days.
