Like I find myself wanting to have a wife and kids and just giving them all they want. I honestly wouldn’t want my wife to work but just stay home, look after the kids, etc. I would buy her a 4x4 so she drive the kids around. I get a lot of satisfaction just thinking about that; being the main provider for my family and seeing them content and happy.

I think a lot of men think that too and it’s natural but unfortunately you’re seen as a simp or a loser if you think that and your wife should be contributing 50% to everything. It doesn’t sit right with me at all.

I’ve read a couple of anthropology books this summer. Notably “Our kind”. anthropologists study our cousins chimpanzés, bonobos and gorillas to try understanding early hominids. I am married have a wife and kid but if when single I was smashing a woman in a foreign country and knowingly bust a nut, I can take a flight the next day without a problem. I feel no obligation at all. I am married because of ancestral cultural reasons.
