I remember people laughing at them a few months ago when they were ADAMANT about letting it be known that the phrase pipe it up came from them and that they were early pioneers of the dab.

we're so quick to throw guys like these to the bushes when they slump a little, even when we acknowledge that they had a wave everybody rode. Then yall wanna get up in arms about a guy like Drake who takes steez from different regions and runs with it. Yall wanna call Drake a culture vulture. Then dismiss Migos and wait for the next new Atlanta artist so y'all can be for a few months, then once the sauce of THAT Atlanta artist leaks into the mainstream, yall get bored and wonder why new ATL artist hasn't put out a heater like that first one that everybody yanked the steez from. It's a cycle, we see it down here, it's almost cute how you guys don't realize it.


And I definitely agree the product has gone down in quality, but that can happen sometimes when 1/3 of your group is stuck in jail. And their album was lowkey a real nice project but Internet fools wanna sit around and gossip about what they sold.

You not wrong about that. I'm not feelin Pipe It Up, song or the phrase. This dabbin shyt is outta control tho, I remember watching their interview like 6 months ago and they were adamant about it being attributed to them and Atlanta and the interviewer was like "why you so defensive?" And they were like just watch people gonna run with it and forget where it came from. And sure enough here we are.
