It’s not at all I don’t think he’s really dropped any bad albums maybe one.

HOF was mid but everything else is outstanding and he’s probably my most listened to rapper.

Definitely wasn’t on Spotify from 2015 maybe up until 2022 because I stopped listening to a lot of rap music around that time

The reason why I think you're trolling because the mention of Jay and Nas make us flabby heads go :lupe:

They’re better rappers but Future makes better music that can be played in more situations.

Lil Wayne, my favorite rapper of all time and i probably listen to future more.

Like if you were stranded on an island for 30 days with nothing, and you could only pick one artist, I would probably pick future just due to the variety in his catalogue in the different styles and melodies and everything lol

He has that perfect gym music. Music for the club. Happy hour. Hookah. Strip club. House parties. :damn:

Who else can say that?
nikka, WHAT? :beli:

you're conflating the two things. thats like saying because they both fall under the genre of rock, that green day has surpassed (which how do you even measure that? record sales? cultural impact?) the ramones. :comeon:

there isn't one without the other. and the end goal isn't the same. not to mention two entirely different fukking decades and subgenres of music. :what:

so you're either a tether with ragebait, or you the type of cat who sits down when he urinates and tucks his wee wee in.

it's gonna happen at some point. nas did it to rakim, hov and biggie did it to kane. the old guard makes way for the new.
all those emcees are sort of in a similar lane.

since future is apart of the dungeon family collective or once was, it would be more accurate to compare him to his southern contemporaries. rap is an umbrella. future falls into a totally different subgenre.

Future is a great vibe rapper. He can make music good enough not to be really turned off by it and he has some great projects/mixtapes.

That said, not many people are unironically rating Future as a rapper. He's more so in the Drake/Kanye/Dr. Dre/Jeezy lane where he's more renowned for his music making ability than his rapping ability.

So, Jay and Nas are going to always rank higher than Future as actual rappers.

And Jay (semi) retired on a good note(4:44) and Nas has a strong late career run with the Hit Boy albums so, even catalog wise, Future poses no threat.

fewcha thoughts clouded & dull it's all emotional appeal for folks that never sober up

it has it's place & love it for what it's worth but don't get carried away HA
