Obviously the richest Nigerians are richer than the richest African Americans but wealth is definitely spread much more evenly amongst African Americans.... it’s not even close

There's a Nigerian diaspora, Kenyan diaspora, Ugandan diaspora, Chinese diaspora, Indian diaspora, etc.

The word "diaspora" is not exclusive to African americans or slavery. That's just the most common usage.

Either way "African Diaspora" usually correlates to those descendant of the slave trade. Scholars been noted this. Africa is NOT apart of the diaspora but there can be Nigerian or Kenyan diaspora like you said but they are NOT apart of the "African Diaspora." We dont NEED our own version because we already have one.

Nigeria as a country has 70 percent of its residents living in Poverty with 50 percent living in Extreme Poverty ( making less than 1.90 per day)

What you see about Nigerians on TV are the wealthiest and most educated of the bunch. This would be the equivalent of me showing you how the black Americans in Woodmore Maryland, Ladera Heights, Hillcrest NY and the upper middle class suburb of Atlanta lives and saying that’s how most African Americans live.

The European view of "poverty" doesn't apply so much to Nigeria, it got ya'll all fukked up. The villages in Nigeria aren't poverty stricken

The amount of bills Americans pay, Nigerians in the village would be shocked to see it. Utility bills for an entire compound (4-5 houses) would be $50 a month. Food is cheaper, because of the farmlands being right there and minimal manufacturing cost

Its funny when people who live in high cost industrialized prisons like how American cities are, look down on villages, when their cost of living per month is what Nigerians in the village pay per year

I really don't like these studies for this very reason. You can make anybody look like they are doing better than they really are while also shytting on another group.
There's like 400,000 Nigerians in America and people love to compare them to 40 million Black Americans saying why can't AA's be like them .....if you took our top 400,000 and compared it to them then that makes more sense imo. Or compare our entire population to 40 million Nigerians in their own country.

I also don't like people comparing the US, a diverse country of 350 million to small ass, homogeneous countries and say why can't we do what they do. It's more complicated than that.
