They’re creeping up in price down here in Houston. We have a few local restaurants that are featuring them. Causing popularity to go up which in turn raises prices.
Thats an assault on blackness! Esp in the south.

I paid damn near $7 bucks for a pack but Im im the outskirts of Baltimore:mjpls:..they not posed to be hip to it. They get to $10/pack Imma be pissed.

I only eat them during the holiday season or special occasions like birthdays, etc.

Oxtails are delicious but it's hard to justify paying a lot of money for bone and bristle because a lot of times oxtails hardly ever have enough meat on em and honestly I'd rather eat pork or beef neck bones as a substitute.

Whenever I'm eating from a Jamaican or Caribbean restaurant I don't order oxtails as my main entree due to the fact that I know there's not gonna be much meat on the bones.

For the real, good, meaty oxtails it's gonna cost you above $60. That's why I like neck bones, not just because of the similarities but inexpensiveness.
