Parody movies are hard to pull off now because of social media.

Like I said I think the Wayans Brothers should make a Squid Game parody but what’s the point if someone on social media can make several videos a day later vs the Wayans doing a whole studio production that comes out a year later?

Actual real life is better than the parodies now. There’s really no point like how SNL tries to make a real life event funny on their show but it ends up being way worse.
Exactly. I used to say The Simpsons didn't fall off. Reality just caught up to where it's stranger than satire.

I'd love to see them come back but they'd have to be The Naked Gun/Don't Be a Menace level classic, not that Disaster Movie "we're not even trying" bullshyt

So I don't think it's dead forever necessarily but with how the world and society is going, the satirists now gotta approach it from a different angle. It's like everything is so over the top now that you'd have to go subtle? Or maybe go so over the top that it makes the over the top shyt in real life look normal? I don't really know lol.
