Are people entitled to a lawyer in custody cases?

i know someone that said they can’t afford a lawyer
And legal aid is bullshyttin
By saying they have none available and that they’re overloaded with cases
Does shyt like this actually happen and the court will proceed with the defendant not having a lawyer?

Not having a lawyer in a custody battle or criminal defense case is probably the silliest thing you can do. In terms of custody they will understand everything a lot better than you and will help you protect your assets or make sure The other lawyer is not taking you to the cleaners.

Tell them do whatever they have to take out alone borrow from a friend put a deposit down anything.

Good question. . I'm pretty sure you just have to rep yourself if you're too broke to get a lawyer.

Most lawyers let you make payments.

I believe that right is only in criminal courts. Marriage/custody would be in civil court where you would have to foot the bill yourself.

No breh, if buddy want his child do like me give your all n live check to check out motels if he truly want his child, he has to be prepared for that

I didn't try with my situation but use legalshield online
