because old people own shyt. point blank. if you dont own a stake in your community then you wont care about elections on really any level. How would your city have a mayor if "nobody ever participates in local elections"?
With that said. I dont plan on voting

But these are people you can actually contact and make that judgement about...they live where you live and are touchable in local meetings if you participate..I know I do..

Not voting for the POTUS is the most intelligent choice one can make. If Its local then that's where it counts. Anyone Who says otherwise is not worth your time.Someone basically snapped on me and my coworker and said were dumb if we don't vote.
My one coworker said he isn't voting and I said no comment and she assumed I wasn't voting
The Presidency is really important. Local Governments are dependent on the President Cabinet for federal funding and regulations. Many local government programs depends on the different cabinet departments (Justice, Education, Commerce, Housing, Transportation and Health) and the federal judges that president's appoint that intervene when republican controlled state governments try to screw over black communities.

Last I checked voting was more of a personal choice. I choose not to vote because Politicians are just politrickin. Out here selling ya dreams of change or immediate danger. Whatever agenda theyre trying to push to sway the public as usual. im not buying into it ever again.
When has any politician running for president ever came through on their campaign promises. I'm frankly sick and fukking tired of these muthafukkas pandering to people begging for votes and NEVER follow through on this...
They Always do this. now we're noticing corruption so blatant on both sides of the political spectrum they are both corrupt. Both parties. They often say vote for the lesser of two evils but they're both evil why vote for either!?!?
I'm fukking done voting for these empty fukking suits...
I'll vote for my local elections in which the state and city I live but nationally washington is fukked up to a point where you can have half a million dollars and buy politicians plain as day and call it lobbying, they classified corporations as a person that has the rights as people do. Are you fukking kidding me? A.L.E.C?!? There's all these think tanks and shadow groups out here we dont even know about making policies fukking over the normal people it seems like it will never end.
