You should vote if not for any other reason than black folk worked hard to vote and it pisses white folks off that you have the right and are exercising it.

Besides that there could be things on the ballot that you don't know about that can help yourself or others you want to help. It's more than 2 candidates on the ballot.

Whenever I went to school board meetings or municipal meetings it was always old people there

And that's why old folks get whatever the fukk they want from politicians politicians don't give a shyt bout young folks cause young folks don't vote, yet young folks get affected more than anyone. Those old voters are passing taxes down to you. They're taking the tax break now and pushing the bucks down the line cause they'll be dead when it's time to collect.
Millennials match baby boomers in the amount of the electorate, but they don't vote in the same numbers and then wonder why politicians stay with old values and old ways of thinking.
Everybody could be living it up passing that medicinal round off the strength of young folks but too many young folks don't vote.

Thats why I dont even speak on it anymore. As soon as some truth come out the real ones disappear or switch up. Your right its in all media. The Presidency is really important. Local Governments are dependent on the President Cabinet for federal funding and regulations. Many local government programs depends on the different cabinet departments (Justice, Education, Commerce, Housing, Transportation and Health) and the federal judges that president's appoint that intervene when republican controlled state governments try to screw over black communities.

We have no real control over who becomes president---it's an illusion.
