Are point guards like Rick Rubio and Rajon Rondo useless in today's NBA?

well some GM's think

9pts 10ast

is better than

25pts 8asts.

Why IDK. Unless there is a new 8 point play that I don't know about :troll:

It's all about the fundamentals :troll:

These young negros are focused on dunking the ball and putting the ball in the hoop instead of the fundamentals :troll:

They way the old vets played it :troll:

Stockton :troll:

To hang as an elite PG, you have to be able to pass and shoot or pass and defend. You don't have to drop 30+ like Westbrook or Curry but you have to be able to keep up and make sure they they don't drop 30+

No, they would fit on a team like Celtics. Put 2-3 allstars around and let them run the team and they would fit, but they can't be your 1st or 2nd player

Please refrain from ever using Ricky Rubio and Rajon Rondo in the same sentence ever again :snoop:

if your the smallest player on the court can't shoot a lick, what use are they? they ain't gonna dominate the game defensively at that size like a non-scoring big man can.

before he was injured Rondo was the best defensive PG in the game bar none - sadly those days seem long numbered :mjcry:

Players like that have to know how to pick their spots to score well with a good touch at the rim and be able to hit atleast a shot from 2 spots on the court.

Jason Kidd started out like them and he's an example of a player that slowly made a good transition forward from that role.
