We're going to feel the effects of Ebony going bankrupt for decades and centuries to come.
When that magazine was out and other Black owned/run media, Black people were able to read about Black people across the country/globe SUCCEEDING in all avenues. They included entertainers and celebs, but featured stories about professionals and entrepreneurs mostly.Even if you didn't know Black successful people in real life, you saw stories about them every month.
With those outlets gone, mainstream media will mostly cover stories about Blacks who are entertainers/athletes, and young people will honestly think that those are the only "successful" Black people.
