I couldn't care less how long you've been here, BS is BS.

Besides, if you've been posting like this since SOHH, that's an indictment on you, not me. lol

I'm also not interested in how you post; you asked me how many times the GOP needs to be called out, and whether there are enough posters here calling out the GOP. I gave you my answer. lol
Not my issue if you didn't like my answer.:kanyebp:
Well, you also posted something about people going to opposing views websites and trolling. I was just retorting that you are off base.
And I was in here talking to someone else and you decided to quote me 4 times. Who really didn't like who's answer? :hhh:

That's only one method of concern trolling. That in no way means that you couldn't concern troll on a website you tend to agree with.

To quote from the article:

"I have some concerns about your methods. If you did these things to make your message less effective, it would be more effective."

One common tactic of concern trolls is the "a plague on both your houses" approach, where the concern troll tries to convince people that both sides of the ideological divide are just as bad as each other, and so no one can think themselves "correct" but must engage in endless hedging and caveats.

This is everything you post in a nutshell. lol

And I was in here talking to someone else and you decided to quote me 4 times. Who really didn't like who's answer? :hhh:

It's a message board, sir. No need to get in your feelings.

Shouldn't it be easy for so called smarter people to convince dumb people of something?
No. Did you not attend high school? :dwillhuh:

Social trends are driven by who is "cool", who has money and access to social power, who has charisma, who is willing to make the most sensational emotional pleas, who is willing to use deception, a lot of blatant self-interest and occasionally truth and logic. Occasionally.

But I'm sure you've been in a social environment where the smart people drove all the trends and the dumb people just followed along obediently. :troll:

Didn't know all that was exclusive to Republicans. The Republicans are the cool kids now?! lol Wow, that's a new one.

Follow the money. The people who go down due to these investigations will be due to money laundering, fraud, bribery, etc. Manafort is a perfect example. Trump has made it clear he's going to pardon major players...but he can't pardon everyone because state charges are in play. Kushner for instance is no doubt guilty of violating NY state laws.

Republicans are clearly going to defend Trump until he becomes no longer beneficial to them. If they get blown out in November, which seems likely, their defenses of Trump could shift. We'll see. My question: will Mueller indict a Trump family member? Don Jr and Kushner are clearly guilty of crimes. Mueller has to know that going after either would result in Trump going apeshyt and shutting all this down...which would be obstruction of justice. I'm not sure he's going to do that before November though so we'll see.

Apparently reading comprehension is exclusive to someone. :mjlol:

I never said that any of those traits were "exclusive to Republicans." Democrats and Republicans both affect public opinion via money, power, charisma, lies, emotional appeals, logic, etc. For example, note how resoundingly Obama won his first election or how quickly homosexual marriage became accepted in just a decade or so. Note how public opinion towards, say, immigration or overseas wars swings wildly back and forth between the right and the left, often for reasons that have little to do with meaningful real-world outcomes.

All I did was point out to you that intelligence is by and large NOT the main thing that drives the ability to influence other people's opinions. There are a lot of other factors there that have little to do with intelligence.

It's not that hard to do what Trump did. The real question is, who gives no fukks enough to be in the history books the way he and his administration will be. A lot of famous people give no fukks when they are young and don't have fear of consequences, but usually as one she'and progresses they gain perspective. Trump, his cronies and his supporters have gained none. History will not look upon that kindly and that will affect molluscs, even billions in the future. Japan is still suffering psychological effects from the hubris of it's Emporer. The West still doesn't trust I ran out Russia. China's demographic issues from it's overreaching political structure will keep it from reaching it's potential and may even lead to collapse financially.

Sure, 'they' won, but winning at all costs, always had a price and somehow, it will be paid for.

So is grammar. :francis:
My point is all these factors should be manipulated better by the so-called smarter party. Unless of course they are not that much smarter.

Fair enough, but I think the GoP has won enough direct elections(congress, governor seats, etc.) to say what we are seeing is pretty accurate...

:yeshrug:

I think there's enough gerrymandering to say that those results aren't accurate at all.

:ohhh:I believe all but 15 governor seats belong to the GoP… you think they gerrymandered majority of those along with the house and Senate?
:ehh:Interesting... and definitely not impossible.

:manny:But I disagree and think the refusal to accept that 'this is america' is hurting the Dems.

We care about proper grammar on The Coli now? :mjlol:

No, charisma, emotional manipulation, control of money and power and most importantly the willingness to lie are NOT necessarily manipulated better by smarter people.

Do you seriously believe that smarter people have more charisma? That smart people are the ones with the money and power?

If one party is 90% White people, trending older and towards the business community, and the other party is 50% White people, trending younger and towards the academic community, then which one of those two is going to have easily access to money and power and therefore easier ability to distribute their narrative in the current USA climate? Hmmmm.....

A recent study showed that fake news travels through social media 9 times faster than real news. So the people who are more willing to use fake news can get their narrative across faster. Does that mean that "smart people" are the ones who most regularly spread fake news and use emotional manipulation instead of facts?

You came for me dude. So I did the same. :manny:
Smarter people should know to put out a candidate with charisma, know to use emotional manipulation, etc.. Unless they aren't smarter? :francis:
And really are the Dems smarter and less willing to do nefarious shyt? I don't think so.
