that's mostly about multiplayer games with server issues at launch. if the pre-release servers were working fine, and that's what the reviewer experienced, it's not like they're lying by saying it works. granted this has been an issue with many games, and you would think many publications would have learned that by now. but the other side of that is that if no reviews are available at launch, customers can only make a completely uninformed purchase. and many of these issues may be cleared up in the coming weeks. does a game deserve to be stuck with a low score because of issues that were only present in it's first week?This writer seems to agree there is a problem with the current review model: Video Games Are Broken, Reviews Are Broken, And Things Have To Change
