Why do folks associate changing a tire with masculinity? shyts weird to me.

It's NOT about that, but it's an important life skill in our current civilization. Growing up I learned to make bikes from spare parts and a little auto maintenance work. It was fun and yes we took pictures just for kicks and jokes.

and it beats 1000 images videos of shirtless tatooed men braiding hair and kissing boys on the mouth

Social media is about promoting an image of the life one wishes they had.

It's a well of wishes. Facebook, especially.

Now if you use it to push a product or your skills it's perfect. SM certainly has a use. If you're just on their putting on a show for free or spreading your private info you're wasting time and resources.

If social media is for women then why not push products that appeal to women?

You could. Many ads you see on social media are based on cookie history anywho so it works out.

And truthfully even though there is a sizeable woman presence there is still a large chunk of men on their, especially young men who use messenger to bag women.
