Lord, rap music has done such a number on us. :snoop:

Without a banging soundtrack and fancy music videos, street dudes would be merely seen as dusty, no skill or trade having , denegerates with no future. Nobody to look up to or want to be.

But instead, rap/ hip-hop culture has painted that lifestyle as "cool" and glorified it to a point where lames on the outside forget that the actual street dudes who have to resort to living like an animal, would gladly trade places with any square living in a safe environment.

The bold is somewhat true. Ive witnessed men and women who got out the hood and doing well for themselves, but can't leave that lifestyle alone. They keep going back and end up getting killed in the same environment they strived to get out of.
