let’s take a look at this off season

-Sam Hubbard retired early
-Tee Higgins just got tagged for the 2nd year in a row
- Jamar Negotiations are stalling currently
- Trey Hendrickson has been given permission to seek a trade

Doesn’t really seem like they’re keeping their players happy, I’m not familiar with their cap situation but I think they got some serious issues to address or they could lose all their talent

Ehhh they're really no different than other teams out here not being able to play players market value.

They're trying to hold on to two #1 receivers (depending on who you ask) when the majority of teams can't even pay one what they deserve.

The biggest knock against them you could say is that they'd rather hold on to players using the franchise tag and let them walk for nothing instead of trading them the year before and getting something in return.

If you're Burrow watching this...your career is basically flashing before your eyes. It's over. And the wild thing is they never really got a real chance to run it back after that SB run due to mismanagement and injuries.
If he really feels that way about it, then he could and should have done his part to help out in leaving money on the table to help pay everyone else especially guys that are at the top of their positions.

The "make sure everyone else gets paid what their worth" schtick doesn't work when you got yours before everyone else did.

Meh. They've hit on 4 different QBs across different generations and have been to the Super Bowl twice since 1980. They're fine.

Since I've been alive they've had Boomer, Carson, Dalton, and Burrow. All played at all pro level while they were there. Boomer and Burrow made Super Bowls. Carson probably would've too if he didn't get hurt.....and I'm not even bringing in the weapons they've found in the draft over the years. For example, Chad, TJ, and Henry were all 2nd round or later picks so was Mixon and Tee and Hendrickson.

Them not playing players hasn't meant they haven't had success over the years nor does it mean they're a bad franchise. The family is just cheap, but they're good at building teams once a generation to put them in Super Bowl contention. That's better than a LOT of teams.
