To me.. The Bloodline has been one of the better long term stories in wrestling ever.. and the Sami aspect has brought it to a whole other level.. the only thing i'm wondering about is do or have they been missing a 'Sting' ?

They had some good matches with a variety of people but guys such as Drew or even Owens aren't as popular as a Sting or even Luger.. do they need someone?

I think the bloodline is a very unique situation/story. while Sting was the NWO’s nemesis and they built it for a year, this Bloodline story seems to be setting up Sami as that nemesis while he’s apart of the group. It’s a totally unique situation we’ve never really seen, that’s why it’s so popular.

They’ve tried it in the past with Daniel Bryan joining the Wyatt’s but even that only lasted a solid week or two

I can’t think of a situation where the arguable hottest babyface in the company was apart of the biggest heel faction simultaneously, and all parties kept their face/heel dynamic. Again, it’s a completely unique situation. The payoff will be one of the most important moves WWE makes going forward and they better not fukk it up

If the payoff is really Sami and KO beating the Usos for the tag titles, it’s kinda disappointing and selling the story short in my truthful opinion. People will pop, but it deserves a bigger payoff than tag titles

Only thing close is Lesnar, I guess? And once you beat him there's literally nobody else who can really challenge you :pachaha:

Well, almost nobody.

It feels like they are getting closer to the end. But I do feel Sami has basically got that Kofi Mania type of buzz on him and basically jumped whatever plans they had for Cody etc.

Owens/Sami taking one set of belts off the Usos would be a bit deflated but would probably still get a huge pop.

Great post

Yeah if they stick the landing, I’m ready to call it the GOAT wrestling storyline/angle

For me the only satisfying conclusion is Zayn taking the belt and establishing himself as a main event babyface

That’s where I am with it too.

Again, it’s such a unique story. Sami is literally attacking babyfaces, costing them matches and being cheered in the process because the entire audience realizes he’s being gaslit and used by the Bloodline while dying for Roman’s acceptance. Manipulation at its finest.

I don’t know if we’ll ever see another storyline like this one again. If the payoff is anything but Sami dethroning Roman at SOME point, it’s gonna be like.. really? That’s it?

I’m sure a tag title victory will get a pop, but still… I’m sorry, but the biggest, most popular long term story in wrestlings end game being the tag titles is a letdown

They created a self fulfilling prophecy with Roman that’s gonna lead to him winning at Mania. I don’t believe in heels achieving every single goal they set out for.

While y'all are saying Sami, I can see Seth and the street profits being built up. He has the look but is only missing 1 thing.....
The entrance.

I hope Big E Langston gets reinvented to his 5 times version when he gets back.

Will the Bloodline disband after Mania?

I've seen a lot of people write about how this Sami stuff ends at WM and I don't think that's necessarily the case. I think they have enough goodwill and good storytelling as a base to keep going forward past March-April. Sami can still get that huge one on one match vs Roman down the line. They can still have other major stable wars between Bloodline vs Steenerico & Friends. There's lots they can keep doing.

I doubt the Bloodline will disband at mania but the belief is that Roman will lose those titles at mania.

the person dethroning him being someone who isn’t involved in this 12 month long storyline would be disappointing.

Wouldn’t be the end of the world, but I’m a strike while the iron is hot type of guy. Sami will always be over because he’s good, but once that bloodline dynamic finally changes and he stands up for himself, he’ll be scorching at that point. I don’t know if he sustains that 9 months later without overcoming Roman. I feel like you’d almost have to pull the trigger then. If anything, Cody and the other aforementioned guys can wait 5-6 months.
