they might as well just ride it out with KG & pierce since theres nothing better they can do to beat the heat anyway.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
They have Sullinger back next year, Rondo, Bradley, Green, Lee, and whatever Danny feasts off in the off season. Boston will not ever be a bottom tier team again, not in the post 2008 Ainge era anyway.

KG isn't going anywhere without saying yes to a trade.

He rejected going to the Clippers at the trade deadline. He isn't going to waive his no trade clause.

I hope so, this team has blown three 3-2 series leads over the past years. They're some choke artist and could never take full advantage of playing in the weak ass East

Realistically they are through as contenders but they probably won't break up that core because KG has pretty much said it's Celtics or no one else. And i could defintely see him retiring after this year. He pretty much hinted at it during the All Star break. Pierce probably stays on unless he seeks a trade to a contender. They should keep Rondo unless they are getting a legit superstar in return and that's not happening. They keep him and with Green and Bradley they have a nice core. Pierce can step back as Green takes over in the coming years but he should still be the starter at small forward with as long as he's getting 18 a night. They find a decent center and maybe Sullinger starts at power forward one day with Green at small forward. And if they can get a shooter off the bench or Bradley develops as a scorer they at least have a playoff team.

I cannot believe I was a KG fan when he was a TWolves, but ever since he came to Boston he turned into the biggest bish. I'm so happy to see it come to an end like this :pacspit:

Coming to an end as still being one of the best big men in the league at 37 years old. Celtics fans are happy to see that too :smugdraper:

I regret not following this season, that well

This maybe the end for our dog

He said; he played his last All-Star game

Glad he got that ring

Boston is done....

Simply because they dont have the front office people to build on the fly like the Spurs have done...

So instead of having players that come in and feed off their stars, they bring in retreats and stop gaps...

They are done
