Are the hawks title contenders

I dont think they a legit contender for the NBA title, but I definitely think they could get to the Finals. I dont see them beating the Western champ in the Finals though

They're beating all these Western teams though. Portland, Houston, Dallas, LAC...

Atlanta may be the one team I want nothing to do with in the playoffs. Their level of IQ, passing & skill is unmatched in the Eastern Conference. Much like the Spurs...they'll easily carve up undisciplined teams.

Horford is healthy to boot. As long as they don't have bad luck with injuries again, I see them and the Bulls facing off in the Conference Finals.

They've already beaten the Bulls and they've made the Cavs look silly.

To be honest, they are better..

They have more skilled players, they pass the ball, and their defense is ranked 7th in efficiency

The spacing is so much better and they have guys with high basketball acumen. Millsap was a flat out steal at the price they signed him for. And he's shooting threes too.

Hawks still haven't won a Playoff series with this group of guys and they been consistantly 3rd or 4th seed every year and they will be this year too. They aren't suddenly better, people are just giving them credit now.
