-1st seed in the East (Which matters)
-ECF-bound
-Destroying the Atlanta Hawks and making Trae Young look absolutely pedestrian
-Mollywhopping the 76ers and completely choking the life out of them to the point where the Sixer fans were booing their team on their home floor.
-Butler being, arguably, the most consistent and efficient superstar in the entire goddamn playoffs so far. Has been absolutely elite on offense and defense.

So is it more likely that the lockdown season, the one with the extremely shortened off-season and had COVID protocols destroying entire lineups at random throughout the entire season, was the fluke season?

Especially considering the Heat are one of the two teams that had the absolute shortest off-season due to playing in the finals? That the Bucks might have been a better team but the Heat were running on fumes due to all those extenuating circumstances?

I dunno, Coli geniuses, y’all tell me what you think.

Let’s start the discussion.

They deserved the hand they have been dealt so far for winning the conference and not ducking anyone. They still really haven't been tested yet, which might be to their detriment in the conference finals.

They been tested all year with a million injuries and still got the first seed. These boys know what they doing. I ain’t saying the Heat winning it all but they been tested. Folks ran with that “bubble talk” for like 2 years straight. Now it’s finally put to rest

We lost our starting PG in the middle of the 1st series, lost our only game that series to a buzzer beater floater, and then closed them out with two of our best players doing a DNP? That’s not being tested?

We had three games where we shot in the 20% from 3 after Embiid came back, watched Danny Green turn back the hands of time for one of his best playoff performances, had James Harden turn the clock back and win a game by taking over a 4th quarter, and then we turned up our defense to absolutely destroy them in our home and in their house. Jimmy had two fantastic games wasted due to shooting like 23% from 3.

We didn’t get tested by losing those two games with everyone thinking Embiid’s return would galvanize the Sixers? We shot trash from 3 this last game too but we still absolutely dominated them on the defensive end.

The Heat have responded to their losses fantastically so I’m not sure what you mean by “not tested”.

I'm talking about the post-season. Atlanta and Philly both were not playing their best ball when they ran into Miami. Boston or Milwaukee will be their first series playing a team that will match their toughness both mentally and physically.

Something was going on with Philly, idk, but that team just looked like shyt for most of the series outside of the games 3 and 4.

ATL and Philly literally credited the Miami Heat defense for their inability to play their best ball. Now everyone giving zero credit to Miami’s defense and game-planning. It’s less about how good Miami is and more about something being off with them.

Disrespectful as all hell lmao

The Bucks or the Celtics are not going to have one of their main guys completely give up like Harden did against Miami my nikka.

Tatum/Brown and Giannis/Jrue/Middleton are not going to shrink like what you witnessed against Miami. If they do, I'll eat crow and say so.

First, it’s the Heat are gonna struggle to make the playoffs.

Then it’s “they played the 9th seed”

Now it’s “They lost two games that Embiid played and then adjusted to destroy them in his next two games”.

@god_shamgod really knows basketball
