I can honestly say I don't think I will ever get drunk again :yeshrug::ehh:
You don't have to do everything to an extreme though. A glass of wine or a couple beers can be a great way to power down after a long day. Moderation should be the new age movement.

There was a study some years ago that showed that while having a drink there is a very small threshold in which alcohol will elevate the mindstate but once you go past that point you basically start to deteriorate in mental function. The subjects in the studies that experienced the benefits of alcohol were not drunk as per the legal limit.

New Research Says Moderate Drinking Makes You Smarter

Recent studies by Jennifer Wiley, a professor of psychology at the University of Illinois Chicago, show that a few drinks actually relax our brains and allow us to think more clearly. In her experiments, Wiley showed 24 sober people and 24 people with a blood alcohol level of .07 – which is under the legal limit – two photographs and asked both groups to find the differences between them. While both groups found the differences in equal numbers, those with a bit of booze in their bloodstream found them faster. The basic reason is because the booze helped them not overthink the solutions, thereby allowing their brains to operate more quickly.

This is lowkey a life hack. Don't drink to get drunk and don't chief smoke. Catch a buzz... It's an incredibly effective way to use substances but takes discipline.

If you can respect it...then yeah. Apart from making you feel nice when you got a buzz going, it can give you a bit more confidence, albeit misguided in doing shyt you would prolly be too afraid or worried to do like for instance, me and public speaking.

Two shots of Cognac and a snifter of Orange juice and Hennessy with a side of scope and a litre of water and I'm more focused on getting my messages across as opposed to worrying about people in the crowd who I subconsciously feel judging me, my voice and the whole nine.

Now is that good, getting courage from something that can fukk your whole equilibrium up and impair your judgement if abused? In moderation for folk relatively shy and always nervous folk like me, yeah, it's a nice tool once you don't use it as a crutch lest it consume you.

Also Red Wine in moderation helps the heart and certain beer with enough yeast combats stomach problems or some shyt....but I ain't here for all that. :hhh:

I know one or two drinks is not bad it just takes the edge off but I clearly said I would never get drunk again

I’m 31 and probably will never drink to get throwed again, so I stepped my quality game up and have 2 glasses of something “fancy” and sip on one beer the rest of the night. shyt has me feeling great and moving smoothly.

Who drinks to get drunk? :dahell:

A beer or a couple glasses of jack is a nice little buzz where I’m still functional.

Plus jack and coke is probably the best tasting drink ever
