Are there any examples of successful movies transitioning into successful tv series?

Buffy The Vampire Slayer. You'd be surprised how many people don't know it was a movie before a TV show.

The movie wasn't successful, though.
That's why I'm not counting stuff like "The Dukes of Hazzard". It was based on a movie called "Moonrunners" that nobody has ever heard of.

I never thought of it that way, but its the same character so I guess it counts. Both are based on the same book series, but the movie came out before the show and the movie WAS successful.

That's kinda cheating but so far its carrying over well

I feel that the Captain America storyline is the strongest thread in the MCU and its actually its backbone

First Avenger. Winter Soldier. Civil War.

You watch those three you can actually go straight to Infinity War and Endgame. I'd say throw in Ragnarock just to show Hulk, Thor, and all that Guardians type shyt before you watch the last two movies.

But yeah. Even Avengers 1 and 2 are mad skippable.

Now with F&WS they are exploring the implications of the 'Blip', racism, government overreach. It's funny and action packed

Good shyt
