but with that said, when I was in hs I worked at sears as electronic sales asc. and made pretty good bank off commission

Get a second job. Try hotels for kitchen or house keeping jobs. Easily $15 an hour or more.

Try to be a car salesman or medical billing.

Even cable companies pay good so try those, too.

You could become a Bus Driver, no degree needed for that in NYC, the Bus Operators get paid like 30 dollars an hour.


New Jersey they get paid like 25 dollars an hour.

You need a CDL though

Truck Driver is another good one, especially in you drive locally and you get to come home every night where's those OTR drivers are gone from home for several days.

If your city has a Subway System or Light Rail look out for Job openings to operate Trains or Conductor. Transit a lot of nice paying jobs where you don't need a College Degree.

Hey, there's the glass half empty view (no college degree and supporting a child) and there's the glass half full view (HS diploma and no criminal record).

I would suggest checking out usajobs.gov for federal government jobs. There are jobs where you don't need a college degree, like Transporation Security Officer. You just scan people and luggage coming through an airport terminal. But, you need to live where the airport has openings unless you can move.

IF YOU DON'T MIND BEING AWAY FROM HOME YOU COULD GET A JOB DRIVING TRUCKS. YOU CAN TAKE ONLINE CLASSES AND HAVE VERY LITTLE DISTRACTIONS BEING ON THE ROAD.

CABLE TV SERVICE/INSTALLS. THEY USUALLY TRAIN YOU AND THEY MAKE DECENT MONEY. LONG HOURS THOUGH.

IF YOU LIVE IN A COLLEGE TOWN CAB DRIVERS MAKE GOOD CASH. MOST OF THE STUDENTS CAN'T AFFORD THE FEES TO HAVE A CAR ON CAMPUS. YOU CAN MAKE PRETTY DECENT MONEY. AND ON TOP OF THAT YOU CAN COMBINE THIS WITH ANOTHER HUSTLE AND DO PRETTY GOOD. YOU CAN MOVE AROUND TOWN PRETTY GOOD.

POSTAL SERVICE OR FED EX. HARD WORK BUT THE PAY IS DECENT AND GOOD BENEFITS.
