The only reason you're saying this is because poor blacks tend to be in major cities/metropolitans where as poor whites are dispersed typically through the Midwest and Deep South. Someone I went to school with just knocked for tryna sell heroine in West Virginia. I'm almost certain his clientele was mostly white. The school he was at was 85% white.

Media propaganda continues to be one of the most effective weapons being used against us. Negative images and sounds are the ones mainly projected to the world about blacks. This is done purposely to keep the black image inferior in the worlds eye:

Ghettos, hoods, poverty and overall negativity are subconsciously associated with the black race worldwide.
Most importantly this affects how we view and feel about ourselves. It makes us feel inferior to all other races and to
even make threads like this. Other races don't celebrate poverty the way we do. Other races are more protective of their image than we are.

Some of the counties with highest welfare use and highest poverty levels are white. Particularly in the south eastern Appalachian states where their sole source of industry had evaporated. I'm on my phone so I can't pull them up.
