If James Harden or any other top tier player gave the effort on defense Bron has given since he's been back in Cleveland they'd get eviscerated by the media.

Somehow Bron can absolutely ignore that side except for those rare chase-down swats that suddenly make him a dominant defender again...:heh:

Again...if his only competition is Jordan, Mike's final sequence as a 36 year old was the defensive play on Malone followed by The Shot. He was still a two-way force at 36.

Watch his final 3 minutes in a Bulls uniform on YouTube. Still digging in, still bending his knees playing actual defense with damn near nothing left in his tank after another 3 peat run.

These comparisons need to stop...for real.

I think it's a wash.

I don't even think LeBron really cares if he wins another title though. He is in "just increase my stats" mode, which people are calling him GOAT after breaking certain records.

That's like gettin' fired as a Wal Mart greeter, yet you still come in and greet customers at the door. Sure, the customers will say "wow, he's the best greeter ever", but the purists/ upper management, they know:mjgrin:

He mos def needs another one. 3 is still too far away from 5 and 6. He knows those are the guys he’s gonna be measured against. If he gets to 4 plus his stats then he gets to keep his status. If not...the detractors gonna hold that shyt over him. Especially if KD starts stacking rings

2010 Lebron was much better so no. 2010 Lebron actually played defense.

He was better defensively. Not offensively. 2010 Lebron would shrink in the spotlight, Lebron now is a seasoned champion and he’ll turn it on once he’s backed into a corner

I swear!!!!

And casual ass fans on social media only see one side of the ball, and that is offense.

I don't even argue with them anymore. If I did, their excuse would be "he has to save his energy for offense".

Jordan played 100% on both sides

Except he was great defensively and offensively then and now he's horrid defensively and great offensively. The difference defensively is much bigger than offensively.

LEBRON MINIMIZES HIS TEAMMATES .. LOVE SHOULD BE HIS GASOL, BUT INSTEAD HE’S HIS KYLE KORVER. AND KYLE KORVER IS HIS SASHA VUJACIC. LOL

If anything Lebron is to unselfish to a fault. He has to take 25 shots a game for them to have a chance.

HES TOO CONCERNED ABOUT HIS
FG% & ASSIST NUMBERS TO DO THAT.

THATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM
AND JORDAN/KOBE.

THE ONLY TIME HE EVER DID THAT
WAS THE 2015 PLAYOFFS.
I RESPECTED HIM FOR THAT
AND ROOTED FOR HIM IN THE FINALS.

Yeah I think he’s most comfortable taking 18 shots a game and imitating Steve Nash. Problem is his surrounding personnel doesn’t allow him to play that way this year.
