I love my GTI, wouldn't have gotten it if it weren't for that TDI recall :blessed:

It's the best all around car in it's class. I shopped around between BMW (320i), Mini (Paceman/Cooper S), Honda (Si), Ford (ST) Toyota (86) and Subaru (WRX) and it was ultimately the best choice for one reason or another over its competition.

The Fender audio :whew:

The 18" Austin wheels stock:whew:

The sport mode suspension:whew:

The VW leatherette :whew:

And it came damn near fully loaded (it's a 2 door SE model) for ~$19k CPO w/ abt 22k miles on it

Honestly breh I couldn't be happier with it, and I'm gonna try to hang on to this car long after it's paid off.

I know what you mean about the Passat. Car is crazy underrated and it feels a lot closer to it's Audi counterpart than the rest of the line up.

Breh! Our experiences sound almost exactly the same.

I cross shopped an Accord (boring as fukk), Camry (like watching paint dry), a sonata 2.0T (quick but boring. It’s a Hyundai. The warranty was dope though), and a few other sedans.

I didn’t want to step up to an A4 just yet because I wanted to stay under 20K and the Audi’s in that price range are all high mileage junk.

That leatherette is no joke Breh, and I’ve got the 19 inch Salvador rims on mine in gunmetal gray. I’ll post pics later today.

And I only have the 1.8T engine but mannnnnn this car is stupid fast. I only put shell premium in mine and even in regular drive mode I can keep up with just about anything on the road. Sport mode is too beastly breh, I’ve gone into it twice since I got the car and I get chills each time.

Enjoy the GTI in good health brother and post pics when you can

Nah i just think breh is saying Hyundai"s are boring as in plain jane, they are solid and reliable though. You damn near have to get the most expensive model to get all of the percs/best look and etc.

Exactly that! I was looking at getting a sonata limited 2.0T for $16,000 out the door. It was fully loaded. Heated front and rear seats, panoramic roof, 245 hp engine, Bluetooth, nav, etc, etc. But the car had no soul and there was a ton of turbo lag. It was quick in a straight line but very laggy turbo and the steering was not very responsive to me. With my Passat, i barely move the wheel and it GOES

They sacrificed performance for gas mileage with the Sonata. The previous model had a way better Turbo engine and it still gave a respectable 26-27 miles to the gallon overall.
