tying the record is like the pats at 18-1 or Panthers at 18-1

You are one game short of history and you fall short. All those games, all that work just to tie is anticlimactic.

Comparing this with a team that lost the title game? #WPOY2016
record is a record.

If they tie I guarantee no one will bring them up in any conversation. They will still reference the 96 Bulls because they did it first.

Just like no one will bring up the 15 Panthers. They still reference them 07 Pats everyday to this day.

They want excellence, be mentioned in the history of the game as all time great they gotta go 73-9 period. Losing today didnt help at all

Well, they're still 1 game better than the Bulls pace.

They're 19-3 in their last 22 games and have 20 games left, no team has ever gone undefeated at home so they may drop a home game in there.
They will imo drop one to the spurs and a seperate home game... But theyll hold the record...

Teams typically run outta steam at the end of the season and give starters rest before the offs... Tanking teams go super tank mode... I think both of those will be amplified when a team sees GSW on the scheduale and says fukk it
