don't even worry about the next galaxy over.
there is way more than enough for us in out own galaxy that we will never get to.
personally, i believe that there is other "intelligent life" in our galaxy. it's just that
the distances even within a single galaxy are mind bending and even the most
intelligent species would find many difficulties within long distance space travel.
we can't even get a person past the moon yet, we are just starting.
Well the milky way has existed long enough for it to be colonized many times over..

So either they are here, or they're so far away we'll never meet. That's the only two options for me :hubie:

Considering there are more galaxy's then stars in our own galaxy it be hard to imagine out of all the planets in those galaxy's there is no other form of life

Definitely not alone.

To me the real question is, is life so far away we'll never make contact with it... That's what I wanna know. Maybe we're the only ones in the milky way Galaxy but two galaxies over is the closest neighbor ...

How would we ever actually contact each other. It would be a huge problem. That's the scenario I have pictured in my head.

Either that or life is everywhere

Other life could be closer than we calculate.

I kind of look at it like the internet. If you were advanced species and figured out it was possible to reach advanced species, you'd figure out that other species could reach you.

I'd expect a species with sense to cloak their planet.

It certainly feels that way considering we've been looking for the last.. 40-50 years? But the universe is just so vast that it's practically impossible for no other form of life to exist... I hope one day we'll be able to find something or explore further into the universe. We know almost nothing about what's happening out there. :mjcry:

We probably aren't alone but if aliens exist and are aware of us, at best, they probably watch us the same way people watch WorldStar Videos.

Would you want to meet most of the people featured in WorldStar videos? Ok then.

Doubt it. The universe is huge. Even if there are microbes or silicone based lifeforms, we wouldn't be alone. Some life might even be operating on a higher plane and that is why we can't see or sense them.
