As a lifetime fan I'm all in. They have to do better with that Scorpion voice. Its garbage.

Also I've read theories that some washed fighter in the movie is actually Johnny Cage. Terrible idea if true but they need Johnny for the comic relief to balance out the seriousness of the movie.

That's what I hated the most. First Jax put metal plates over his real arms, then they changed it to Ermac ripping his arms off, now Sub Zero is the one who did it??? Also why don't they just use Boon's voice for Scorpion's "Get over here"? Finally why did they put Kano's metal plate under his skin?

I wouldn't go to theaters to see this but seeing as how this is coming to HBO I'll check it out.

It makes sense. It should run parallel to the game's timeline. Also it makes the movie easy to follow for a bigger group of people.

There are minor changes already. In this movie Sub Zero breaks Jax arms. Thats not what happened originally and in MK9 (the re-telling of 1, 2 and 3 with a few changes), Ermac ripped his arms.

I'm sorry but Cary Tagawa killed the Shang Tsung role in the original movie to the extent that I cannot see anyone else doing justice to the character. This new Shang looks kinda weak but I'm excited for the gore and maybe a fresh twist to the usual storyline.

I’m in but this movie better impress... so far, Scorpions whole fit and vibe is off. I haven’t seen enough of the new characters to judge. Jax’s arms looks comical (almost as bad as they did in annihilation)...


I got to see more of the characters. So far looks like SubZero the only one that can carry this shyt (action looks good too tho).
