You can’t name a great rapper in any generation who isn’t an obvious & professed student of the game.

With many of the newer cats, if you listen to their interviews you rarely hear them credit/appreciate many of the legends outside of maybe Wayne…It’s mostly “old head this” and “washed up that” and well…you hear how their music comes out.
