If you fukk with the content, Jones always has some bangers....it may only be ONE off a mixtape, like that Vamp Life 3, (Boyz N The Hood), but it's always a few solid tracks. I like 'Ghost Of Rich Porter' and a few of those Vamp Life/memoirs of a hustler, it's all dope boy shyt, but it's solid material. I can tell Jones gets a lot of help with the bars and flow though, he's close to Drake status, the way he changes project to project.

Yes Jim had a great run, got progressively better as time went on, you can see the growth and skill improvement from his first album till about his peak on that 3rd album.

His mixtapes were always good.

lowkey, Diary of a summer might the best album outta the dipset crew other than Come home with me.

As far as the casual fan is concerned dipset woulda been an after thought if it wasnt for jimmy tbh.

it's a classic to me. Even thinking about the shyt takes me back..... :ahh:

I couldn't even listen to it now cause I fell off something horrible since then. :mjcry:

But really, I don't see how anybody can dispute it. While Cam was in Florida hiding out from the goons with the doggy water dish in the back, Jones was holding the shyt DOWN.

Jim Jones basically extended Dipsets run for another good two years whether nikkas wanna agree or not , but he also putt the nail on the coffin when he pulled that foul shyt by going on stage with 50

I think at this point, it might be all jimmy..

Im sure Max and Stack helped him, but it seems like he really likes rapping..

You can tell off the early dipset shyt that he was finding himself

crazy run.

the shyt he was spitting on that freestyle Cam and Jim did on Flex was fire (Juelz was so embarrassing i can't count him)
saw people saying that Miami Vamps shyt he put earlier this year was pretty good too..never bothered with it.

he surrounding himself with dope rappers again too.
Neek Bucks, Dave East (crazy he's knew him for years and never worked with him), Al-Doe etc.

people turned on him over the Cam shyt...the Max shyt just put the shtamp on it.
What exactly happened with Cam and Jim? I was pretty much old enough to follow but I wasn't a huge Dipset fan like that and plus it seems foggy in retrospect like they broke up for no reason at all really. Did POME have Jim's head big?
