Lol casuals have convinced themselves that "Finals L's" is a terrible, very bad thing. It's used to detract from LeBron so that means it's basically the worst thing you can have on your resume. Unless you are absolutely confident and positive you will WIN in the Finals, the smart play is generally to throw some games and get eliminated early. Conference Finals is cutting it awful close so a nice 2nd round exit is a good time to lose on purpose and chill. A small price to pay to ensure you successfully avoid the dreaded Finals L, the worst thing one can have on one's goddamn resume.
