It's about watching my people struggle while those who stole our ancestors labor living lavishly. I don't understand why black people are just ok with that.

But I feel you on the weaponry. I was in no way insinuating that our ancestors were punks. They fought their fight. It's now on us, today, to continue. But you see the attitude. My question is "ARE WE PUNKS?" Are as in present tense, we as in us.

Easily one of the worst threads in coli history....it has been proven by W.E.B. Du Bois, John Blassingame, and Carter G. Woodson that blacks in slavery emancipated themselves through agency, resistance campaigns, and guerilla warfare tactics...WE TOOK OUR OWN FREEDOM.

If you haven't read Black Reconstruction by Du Bois or The Slave Community by Blassingame, don't try and argue that stupid point in the OP because those books CLEARLY show how blacks freed themselves collectively...both books use PRIMARY documents from the slaves themselves, the owners, the government records, and the soldiers during the Civil War that PROVE blacks freed themselves and took their own emancipation.

Massive thread failure unless you go back and read these works and understand that blacks have always fought together in a collective unit for their human and natural rights to this day...no more anti-black threads unless you know your history or got evidence, period.

If your rent is $1,000 and you only have $800, then a friend or family member spots you the other $200, can you take full credit for paying your rent (in other words it wasn't just black people)?

And I won't even touch on if you only used say $600 of your money towards said rent (in other words, not ALL black people were fighting).
